Project Manager – Consultant "If better is possible, good is not enough” Davor Krmpotić, born 1969 in Virovitica, Croatia. He continues to expand his knowledge through constant developing in Gastronomy, Food and Beverage, Wine, Catering and Service fields. Certified Sommelier, Bartender, Tea Master and Service aficionado focused on highest service standards.
With more then fifteen years of experience in hospitality, he held positions from busboy to hotel manager. Davor has extensive experience from variety of bars, five stars restaurants, cruise ships, all mayor hotel chains to small privately owned resorts. He had worked as service educator and on job trainer for many top restaurants in New York City, developing service staff, bartenders, sommeliers, restaurant and catering managers in tri-state area. Davor had opportunity to work with some of today world best chefs including; Daniel Boulud, Michel Roux, Laurent Tourondel, Mario Batali, Lidia Matichio Bastianich, Bruna Alessandria, Ari Nieminen, Charlie Palmer, Craig Shelton, Yukihiro Sato, Romeo Salta, Mitchell Altholz, Raji Jallepalli Reiss, … In his extensive banquet and events experience he worked in many different environment; from Alaska’s hunting party, Hollywood Celebrity Weddings, movie stars charity events, museums, botanical gardens, Long Island mansions, Park and Fifth Avenue private gatherings, concerts, annual events, … to serving lots of Hollywood stars, some Forbes most rich people, many distinguished people, world leaders, two US presidents and even Pope John Paul II.
Davor was many times awarded and recognized for his accomplishments and high standards of service. His programs, wine lists, cocktails and service solutions were appraised by notable magazines and critics. He was presented as the “World’s Best Waiter” at a Hotel, Motel, and Restaurant International Show with presentation of more than 100 napkin folds and flambé show.
